Nicole brings a deep commitment to education, social justice, and democracy building to her work. As a Partner at Building Impact Partners, she advises philanthropists, foundations, and mission-driven organizations on how to design and deploy their resources for meaningful, measurable impact. Nicole began her career as a middle school intensive reading teacher in her hometown of Miami, an experience that continues to inform her understanding of how social systems shape opportunity and outcomes for marginalized communities. From there, her career has been defined by impact at the intersection of policy and practice. She has scaled regional growth for a national nonprofit, served as the leader of a political advocacy organization, and taught graduate students at Columbia University’s Center for Public Research and Leadership while running her own strategy consulting firm.
Nicole excels at helping clients clarify their goals, align values with strategy, and translate philanthropic intent into effective actions. She partners with donors across the full lifecycle of their giving, from early vision-setting and issue-area exploration to grantmaking strategy, capacity-building, and impact measurement. Whether facilitating multi-stakeholder collaborations or coaching leaders on advocacy and coalition dynamics, Nicole ensures that philanthropic investments are both rigorous and deeply responsive to community needs. Nicole has a J.D. from Emory Law School and a B.A. from Florida State University.
